iPhone YouTube Troubles
Posted by Daniel in Apple, iPhoneNov 4th, 2007 | 57 responsesWhen I have problems with software or hardware, I usually start by searching on Google and finding dozens of solutions on different blogs and forums. Of course, in each forum there about a dozen solutions that you have to try for yourself also. I have an iPhone unlocked using SimFree 1.7 and here is the simple solution to activating YouTube on your unlocked phone after receiving this message:
“You must first connect to iTunes with an internet connection to enable YouTube.”
These instructions assume that you have the “Installer” application (from jailbreakme.com) on your iPhone.
- Go to Installer
- under Sources folder, install Community Sources
- Under System folder, install BSD Subsystem
- in Sources icon (still in installer), add this source i.unlock.no
- Under Unlocking Tools folder, install YouTube Activation
- Restart
